UI religious studies professor Raymond Mentzer knighted by France’s Ministry of Education

The French government has named Raymond Mentzer, the Daniel J. Krumm Family Chair in Reformation Studies at the University of Iowa, a knight in the Order of Academic Palms for his service and contributions to French education and culture. Mentzer will be decorated on June 12 in Paris.

UI Fulbright alumna leads push to help minority students apply for, receive fellowship

Politano Award from the American Urological Association for his research and clinical excellence in urinary incontinence. The award, presented annually, is given to an individual for outstanding achievements in the field and for enhancing the treatment of incontinent patients.
