U.S. News & World Report has ranked six University of Iowa programs among the best in the country in its new ranking of online programs.

The Best Online Programs rankings listed these Iowa programs:

• Best Online Master of Nursing Administration: No. 7
• Best Online MBA in General Management: No. 15
• Best Online MBA in Business Analytics: No. 22
• Best Online Master of Education: No. 37
• Best Online MBA for Veterans: No. 46
• Best Online Master of Business Administration: No. 73

The rankings were released Jan. 24.

Programs were ranked based on multiple factors, including engagement, or the extent to which a degree program promotes participation by enabling students to effectively interact with instructors and classmates; services and technologies; faculty credentials and training; and peer evaluations.
