It’s a great day to be a Hawkeye, and you have the merch to prove it. Your family and friends are going to love these Hawkeye-themed holiday gifts, and to help fill your cart, we’ve compiled a list of options ranging from tickets to swag.

You can find something for everyone at the Iowa Hawk Shop, the official UI bookstore for anything and everything Hawkeye related. Purchase Hawkeye-themed clothing, picture frames, ornaments, car accessories, pet supplies, and so much more.

The Iowa Hawk Shop is located on the ground floor of the Iowa Memorial Union. Click HERE to check out the store’s website, which includes online order delivery. To ensure order delivery by Dec. 25, the standard shipping deadline is Tuesday, Dec. 13.


Tickets to UI athletics events

Experience the energy of Carver-Hawkeye Arena and witness some of the best talent in college sports with your black-and-gold family and friends. Purchase women’s basketball single-game tickets for as low as $12 each, while men’s basketball single-game tickets start at $20. The women’s gymnastics season tickets cost $20, and general admission tickets for the 2023 Big Ten Championships in Iowa City are on sale for $20, as well.

For spring sports, baseball season ticket packages and single-game tickets are available. Single-game tickets begin at $2 for weekday games and are capped at $10 for weekend Big Ten series.

UI Pentacrest Museums

Herky and Rusty

Rusty Griswold isn’t the only co-star this holiday season. The UI Pentacrest Museums have two gift shops, including one at the Museum of Natural History and another at the Old Capitol Museum. Both shops are open during regular museum hours (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday).

At the Museum of Natural History, you can purchase animal plushies, including a baby Rusty the sloth, T-shirts, holiday ornaments, coloring books, jewelry, rocks/gems, and many other science- or animal-themed stocking stuffers.

At the Old Capitol Museum, you can purchase art prints of the building and UI campus, Old Cap T-shirts and hats, jewelry, ornaments, and more.

Hancher Auditorium and Hancher Showcase

What do you get someone who has everything? An experience they’ll never forget.

Hancher Auditorium is midway through its 50th anniversary season, and tickets to any of the remaining shows are sure to delight someone on your list. Check out the schedule of events that includes the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (Jan. 29), Yo-Yo Ma and Kathryn Scott (March 28), and the American Ballet Theatre (May 6).

The Hancher Showcase is the auditorium’s gift shop, and proceeds from the shop support Hancher’s educational programs. The shop offers a variety of unique gifts and is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays through December and on Wednesdays January through May. On performance days, the store opens 90 minutes before a show and stays opens during and after the show, as well.
