The University of Iowa’s impact along the RAGBRAI route goes beyond the display of black and gold. The UI and its alumni provide expertise in areas as varied as health care, education, law, and business in numerous RAGBRAI pass-through and overnight towns. As RAGBRAI riders traveled from one side of Iowa to the other last week—Sergeant Bluff to Lansing—there was no shortage of Hawkeye pride. Cyclists sported black and gold throughout the week as they traveled from west to east along the picturesque Iowa countryside in the northern part of the state.
