A University of Iowa search committee has announced the first finalist for the next ombudsperson.

Chanelle Reese is the associate ombudsperson at the University of California, Merced, where she has provided confidential conflict resolution services to administration, faculty, staff, and students since May 2020.

Reese will meet with faculty, staff, students, shared governance, and campus leadership during a campus visit.
