U.S. News & World Report has ranked six University of Iowa programs among the best in the country in its new ranking of online programs.

The Best Online Programs rankings listed these Iowa programs among the best:

• Best Online Nursing Administration Programs: No. 8
• Best Online MBA in Finance: No. 15
• Best Online Master’s in Education: No. 24
• Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans: No. 50
• Best Online MBA: No. 78
• Best Online Master’s in Nursing: No. 82

The rankings were released by the magazine on Jan. 25.

Programs were ranked based on multiple factors, including engagement, or the extent to which a degree program promotes participation by enabling students to effectively interact with instructors and classmates; services and technologies; faculty credentials and training; and peer evaluations.
