Due to COVID social distancing requirements, a limited number of people will allowed to attend the open forums in person, but each forum will be live streamed. Additional information on the public forms, including how to request tickets and how to submit a question, can be found on the UI presidential search website.

Live video streaming of each open forum will be available at https://www.iowaregents.edu and https://presidentialsearch.uiowa.edu.

In addition, members of campus and the community can share their feedback on the finalists via the presidential search website. Feedback for all candidates will be accepted through 5 p.m. Monday, April 26.

The four finalists are scheduled to visit campus and meet with various constituent groups on April 12-13; April 15-16; April 19-20; and April 22-23. The visit schedule is available on the above websites.

The name of each candidate will be announced at 8 a.m. the day before their interview begins on IowaNow, the presidential search website, and the Board of Regents website. At that time, the candidate’s curriculum vitae also will be made available.

The Board of Regents plans to meet on April 29—30 at the UI to hear from the search committee and interview the finalists, with the selection of the next UI president made on April 30.

The Board of Regents is a group of nine citizen volunteers who govern the state’s three public universities and two special K-12 entities—the Iowa School for the Deaf and Iowa Educational Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired—through policymaking, coordination and oversight.
