Bardhoshi named a top contributor to flagship journal

Gerta Bardhoshi, an associate professor in the Department of Rehabilitation and Counselor Education in the University of Iowa College of Education, has been named a top contributor to the Journal of Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development.

A recent meta-study of publication patterns for the Journal of Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development (MECD) identifies Bardhoshi among the top 15 most prolific MECD contributors in the past 20 years.

Bardhoshi has been a counselor educator for eight years, and a faculty member at Iowa for the past five years. She was one of four women named on the list. MECD, published since 1968, is the flagship journal of the Association for Assessment and Research in Counseling, and is the top measurement journal in counselor education.

Bardhoshi is a member of the Association for Assessment and Research in Counseling, the American Counseling Association, and the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. She is also a senior research fellow in the UI Public Policy Center.
