UI physics student poster earns medal

A University of Iowa physics student has earned a medal for his research poster at the recent American Astronomical Society meeting in Seattle.

The poster by William Fuelberth was one of 26 undergraduates chosen for a medal from 214 undergraduate submissions by a panel of scientist judges at the meeting.

Fuelberth studies with Philip Kaaret, professor in the UI’s Department of Physics and Astronomy.
