The University of Iowa search committee for the next associate vice president/dean of students in the Division of Student Life has announced the second finalist for the position.

Tierney Bates, assistant vice chancellor for student affairs at North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina, will visit campus Wednesday, Nov. 7.

An open forum will take place from 1 to 1:50 p.m. in the Iowa Theater of the Iowa Memorial Union. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
