The University of Iowa search committee for the new dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has announced the third finalist for the position.

Steve Goddard, senior associate to the executive vice chancellor and John E. Olsson Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, will visit campus Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 23 and 24.

An open forum will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, in room W151 of the Pappajohn Business Building.

The campus community is encouraged to provide feedback to the search committee through the committee website. The feedback will be collected by Isaacson, Miller, the firm retained by the UI to assist in the search, and reported anonymously to the search committee.
