The University of Iowa search committee for the new dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has announced the second finalist for the position.

Susan S. Williams, professor in the Department of English at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, will visit campus Thursday and Friday, Oct. 18 and 19.

An open forum will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, in room W151 of the Pappajohn Business Building.

The campus community is encouraged to provide feedback to the search committee through the committee website. The feedback will be collected by Isaacson, Miller, the firm retained by the UI to assist in the search, and reported anonymously to the search committee.
