The University of Iowa search committee for the new dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has announced the fourth finalist for the position.

DoVeanna S. Fulton, dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and professor of African American and women’s studies at the University of Houston–Downtown in Houston, Texas, will visit campus Thursday and Friday, Oct. 25 and 26.

An open forum will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in room W151 of the Pappajohn Business Building.

The campus community is encouraged to provide feedback to the search committee through the committee website. The feedback will be collected by Isaacson, Miller, the firm retained by the UI to assist in the search, and reported anonymously to the search committee.
