The University of Iowa search committee for the next associate vice president/dean of students in the Division of Student Life has announced the first finalist for the position.

Anne Flaherty, interim assistant dean of students at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and director of WashU Cares, will visit campus Tuesday, Oct. 30.

An open forum will take place from 1 to 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, in the Black Box Theater of the Iowa Memorial Union. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
