Kelsey Ryder received the Outstanding New Professional award from the Midwest Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.

The award is given annually to recognize the outstanding contribution of a new professional to the financial aid profession. The recipient must have been in the profession for fewer than five years and made outstanding contributions at the institutional state, regional, and/or national levels. The recipient must also be a current member of MASFAA.

Ryder was promoted to the newly created position of assistant director, counseling, outreach, and financial literacy in the UI Office of Financial Aid on July 1, 2018.

“The Office of Student Financial Aid is grateful for this award-winning young professional and the passion she brings to serving students,” says Cindy Seyfer, senior associate director in the Office of Student Financial Aid.
