Dale Wurster, professor in the College of Pharmacy’s Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Experimental Therapeutics, received the David J. W. Grant National Institute for Pharmaceutical Technology and Education Distinguished Scholar Award in Basic Pharmaceutics.

The award is the highest recognition awarded by the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Technology and Education and is given for outstanding scientific achievements in the relevant areas of pharmaceutical science and technology. Grant was a friend, colleague, and mentor to Wurster.
