A university search committee has announced the first finalist for the next University of Iowa College of Public Health dean.

Ann Scheck McAlearney, director of the health services research program and professor of family medicine at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, will visit campus Monday and Tuesday, March 5 and 6.

An open forum will take place on Monday, March 5, from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. in Callaghan Auditorium (N110) in the College of Public Health Building. A reception will follow from 5:15 to 6 p.m. in the CPHB Atrium.

The name of each candidate invited to campus will be announced one day prior to his or her visit. The campus community is encouraged to provide feedback to the search committee through the committee’s website.
