The University of Iowa’s Vaughan Institute for Risk Management and Insurance was ranked among the top 20 undergraduate insurance and risk management programs in the country by Best’s Review, an industry trade publication.

The magazine’s rankings are based on a survey of readers and industry professionals, and with interviews with hiring managers and human resources professionals responsible for recruiting college students. The magazine analyzed more than 100 college and universities.

The Vaughan Institute is the only one ranked in the Best’s survey in Iowa.

The Vaughan Institute, in the Tippie College of Business, provides educational programs for students, as well as research and thought leadership on relevant topics that transform the risk management and insurance industry and prepare students for careers in the industry. The Institute has also built a network of industry partners and research partners to collaborate, create leverage and more effectively achieve its mission.
