The University of Iowa Office of the Provost announced Tuesday, May 2, the third candidate for the position of dean of the UI College of Nursing.

Elizabeth J. Corwin, professor and associate dean for research at the Emory University School of Nursing and Department of Physiology in Atlanta, Georgia, will visit campus Wednesday and Thursday, May 3–4.

An open forum for faculty will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 3. A forum for staff will run from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday, May 4, followed by a forum for students from 2 to 3 p.m. All forums will take place at the College of Nursing Building on the UI campus.

The name of each candidate will be announced one day prior to their visit. A fourth and final candidate is expected on campus May 8–9.
