The University of Iowa Office of the President announced Sunday, April 30, the second candidate for the position of vice president for student life. 

Timothy A. Alvarez, vice president of student affairs at North Dakota State University, will visit campus Monday, May 1, and Tuesday, May 2. You can view Alvarez’s brief biography on the Vice President for Student Life Search website. 

An open forum for faculty, staff, and students will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, in W401 of the Pappajohn Business Building on the UI campus.
