The University of Iowa Office of the Provost announced Wednesday, April 19, the first candidate for the position of dean of the University of Iowa College of Nursing.

Keela Herr, the current associate dean for faculty at the UI College of Nursing, will visit campus Thursday and Friday, April 20 and 21.

Open forums will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 20, and from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Friday, April 21. All forums will take place at the College of Nursing building on the UI campus.

The name of each candidate invited to campus will be announced one day prior to his or her visit.
