I Love University of Iowa

The University of Iowa is celebrating a milestone in February—its 170th birthday. There’s so much to love about being a Hawkeye, from pushing boundaries inside and outside the classroom to proudly wearing black and gold while cheering on your favorite team to joining a global community of alumni.

What do you love about being a Hawkeye? It can be a person, place, or memory during your time on campus. Starting Feb. 1, you can tell us on social media using the hashtag #iloveUIOWA.

You also have the opportunity to share a personalized message by writing on an 8.5" x 11" sign, taking a picture, and sharing it online using #iloveUIOWA. You can print one here or find signs at the following locations on campus:

  • Campus Recreation and Wellness Center (CRWC)
  • IMU Welcome Center
  • Hillcrest and Burge residence halls
  • Main Library
  • Medical Education Research Facility (MERF)
  • Hancher Auditorium
  • Carver-Hawkeye Arena

Also, you can print a logo to use for a card, poster, et cetera, here.

Help make the UI’s 170th birthday its best one yet by using #iloveUIOWA.
