A team of University of Iowa accounting students recently won the regional championship of a tax case study sponsored by Deloitte, a national accounting and consulting service.

The students—Rany Bopanna, Grant Miller, Kyle Trudeau, Kylie Beneke, and Amanda Rostenbach—are accounting majors in the Tippie College of Business. Their team was one of nine regional winners in Deloitte’s FanTAXtic case competition, held Nov. 11–13 at the firm’s offices in Chicago. The team advances to the national case competition in January in Dallas.
