Erica Kaldenberg, assistant director of UI REACH within the College of Education, and Meredith Saletta, an assistant professor within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences' Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, have been awarded an Obermann Center for Advanced Studies Interdisciplinary Research Grant for their project, "Literacy Interventions in Individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities: A Meta-Analysis."

Funded by the Office of the Vice President for Research and the Center’s C. Esco and Avalon L. Obermann Endowment Fund, the research grant is designed to provide teams enough money, space, and time to focus intensely on a project for two to four weeks.

The award will provide Kaldenberg and Saletta $3,000 each and office space in the Obermann Center.
