Changes will affect Mayflower Shuttle, Interdorm, and Hawkeye Interdorm routes
Thursday, November 17, 2016

Due to traffic complications resulting from the Gateway Project road construction on North Dubuque Street, University of Iowa Parking and Transportation will make changes to three Cambus routes beginning Monday, Nov. 28. The Mayflower Shuttle, Interdorm, and Hawkeye Interdorm routes will be affected.

The Mayflower Shuttle route will have adjusted departure times, and an additional bus operating during peak morning travel will increase service frequency. Weekday departures from Mayflower Hall will occur every 20 minutes from 6:55 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., except between 8:05 a.m. and 9:25 a.m., when the Mayflower Shuttle will depart every 10 minutes.

The Interdorm route will begin service earlier and also increase service. On weekdays, the Interdorm Cambus will depart from Mayflower Hall at 6:30 a.m. and will serve that stop every 30 minutes until 8 a.m., when service frequency will increase to once every 10 minutes until 5:50 p.m., then every 30 minutes until 10:20 p.m.

The Hawkeye Interdorm route will no longer service several stops on academic weekdays until after 6 p.m., including stops 1016 Burge, 1011 Church Street South, and 1000 Mayflower Hall.

Keep track of Cambus service alerts and changes on the UI Parking and Transportation’s Cambus page.
