Dance Gala, presented annually by the University of Iowa Department of Dance, showcases dynamic choreography and dancing from one of the most highly acclaimed dance programs in the country. The 2016 show runs from Nov. 3–12 in Space Place Theater on the UI campus.

The gala features a performance of Martha Graham’s “Ritual to the Sun,” from Acts of Light, along with the premiere of five pieces created by the university's internationally renowned faculty. Iowa Now provides a sneak peek at the stunning creative work.
