As RAGBRAI riders traveled from one side of Iowa to the other, black and gold were common colors. Cyclists sported the colors on their kits, the UI Mobile Museum was a constant presence, and Herky and the Iowa Spirit Squad mingled with fans and friends of the University of Iowa.
