Graduates of the Tippie College of Business’ accounting program who took the CPA exam for the first time in 2015 had a pass rating of 79.6 percent, ranking 13th among large schools in the United States. That figure is also second in the Big Ten (up from third the previous three years) and highest among public institutions in Iowa.

The national first-time pass rate is 55 percent.
