UI community encouraged to attend, participate in discussion
Monday, February 15, 2016

The University of Iowa will host a town hall meeting for the campus community Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. in C20 Pomerantz Center. There will be time for social engagement preceding and following the town hall in the foyer of C20.

President Bruce Harreld will lead the town hall; Provost Barry Butler and Senior Vice President for Finance and Operations Rod Lehnertz will join him. In addition, Tom Rocklin, vice president for student life, will lead a discussion on student housing. UI community members are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and share their ideas for improvement.

As part of the engagement process, the Office of the Provost has prepared a data digest, which will be updated regularly. The data, which can be found at provost.uiowa.edu/university-iowa-data-digest, will inform the work of the Strategy Implementation and Operations teams. As announced previously, these committees will use opportunities like the town hall to continue the dialogue with the campus.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa–sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation in order to participate in this program, contact the Office of the President in advance at 319-335-3549.
