Tawny Hiebing, a graduate student in the Rehabilitation Counseling Education Program at University of Iowa College of Education, was selected for a 2015 Summer Experiential Learning Fellowship to execute her research proposal.

The grant is awarded by the Social Security Administration's Disability Research Consortium through Mathematica Center for Studying Disability Policy. Her research project will be focusing on case closures of individuals who have sustained a TBI and utilize vocational rehabilitation services.  The fellowship will support her independent disability policy research this summer while she is participating in onsite activities at Mathematica's Washington, D.C., office.
