University of Iowa accounting and law students will again provide free tax return preparation services to qualifying persons this year as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

The service runs through April 13. Trained tax preparers—most of whom are accounting and law students—will be available on various dates and times at the Iowa City Public Library (ICPL), Northwest Junior High School (NWJHS), South East Junior High School, and Garner Elementary School. Spanish translators will be available at ICPL and NWJHS.

For a complete schedule of dates at each location and the terms of eligibility, visit the Beta Alpha Psi VITA website or email vita@uiowa.edu.
