Jeffrey Parsons, director of Teaching and Technology Effectiveness at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky, was named chairman-elect for Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP). His term as chairman will begin in July.

Parsons received his Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Iowa’s College of Education.

CACREP accredits master’s and doctoral degree programs in counseling and its specialties that are offered by colleges and universities in the United States and throughout the world.
