Making their mark

You might recognize Forrest Saunders and Lauren Moss, both of whom received degrees from the University of Iowa School of Journalism and Mass Communication. They practice their trade at eastern Iowa television stations—Saunders at KCRG, the ABC affiliate in Cedar Rapids, and Moss at KWWL, the NBC affiliate in Waterloo.

They both established their professional foundation working for Daily Iowan TV, the broadcast component of The Daily Iowan news organization.

Saunders, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, and Moss, of Tinley Park, Illinois, talk about the experience gained working for DITV and how the work deepened their love for journalism.
