Following is an update on Rising to the Next TIER, the transformation and efficiency study of Iowa’s public universities commissioned by the Iowa Board of Regents.
The Iowa Board of Regents will hold a telephonic meeting Friday, Nov. 14, from 2-3:30 p.m. to consider action on eight TIER administrative business cases presented by Deloitte Consulting LLP at the board’s Oct. 2 meeting.
Deloitte representatives also have presented the proposals during town hall meetings at the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and the University of Northern Iowa. Presidents of the universities summarized feedback they’ve received from faculty, staff, and students during the regents’ meting last week.
The Nov. 14 meeting will originate from the Iowa Board of Regents office at 11260 Aurora Ave. in Urbandale. Live streaming of the meeting’s audio portion will be available on the board’s website.
