You@UI is part of the university’s push to expand undergraduate enrollment. Unlike conventional visit programs, it lets guests create custom itineraries from dozens of options. Media are welcome to cover events throughout the day:

  • Interview prospective students and families about the experience and the college search process.
  • Talk with UI representatives about efforts to welcome more students.
  • Cover demonstrations and hands-on activities—simulated volcanoes, performing robots, mock patient interviews and diagnoses, and so on.
  • Catch Herky, the Iowa Pep Band, and the Iowa Spirit Squad at Kinnick Stadium.
