Spark your child's creative side this summer. University of Iowa Arts Share camp still has space available June 16-20. The camp is for children entering grades 1-6. Campers are grouped by grade with a limit of 18 students per section.

Sessions run from 8:30 a.m. to noon each day. Children participate in workshops in theater, music, movement, art, and creative writing, and will enjoy live performances. Workshop leaders are UI graduate students who have extensive teaching experience through Arts Share.

Cost is $100, which includes snacks. Registration forms can be found on the Arts Share website, or e-mail artshare@uiowa.edu for more information.

Arts Share continues UI's long tradition of sharing creative resources from the UI College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Division of Performing Arts (music, dance, theater), School of Art and Art History, and the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Its goal is to strengthen the arts in underserved areas, reaching out to provide access to life-enriching arts experiences throughout Iowa.
