University of Iowa alumni from all over the world are using their Hawkeye connections to make critical career connections in a new virtual networking series offered by the UI Alumni Association.
The six-part Hawkeye Virtual Networking online series is free, open to all alumni, and take place the third Wednesday of every month through July, with the next event scheduled for April 16, from noon to 1 p.m. (CST). The first session in February attracted more than 100 alumni from 33 U.S. states and 11 countries—along with positive feedback about the event’s convenient and user-friendly format.
Participants are randomly connected with other alumni in one-on-one, text-based chats that allow them to share career experiences and advice, reminisce about their time on campus, and exchange contact information to build professional networks.
To register for the upcoming April 16 event, visit the UI Alumni Association website by noon Wednesday, April 16.
