College of Law honors long-serving faculty with portrait tradition
Thursday, April 17, 2014

The University of Iowa College of Law honors faculty with 25 years of service with the opportunity to have their portrait join colleagues from the present and the past in the oldest law school west of the Mississippi.

Professor Adrien Wing recently had her portrait unveiled after reaching the 25 year mark, as did Professor Emeritus William Buss, who has been teaching at Iowa since 1967.

Here they share their stories and experiences of their decision to have their portrait done, and UI alum and artist Susan Hargus provides a window into the process of creating Buss' portrait.
