Update on May 2, 2014: Due to this being the second wettest April on record, the work at Hubbard Park has not occurred as scheduled. The closure has been extended through June 6, 2014.

Hubbard Park was originally closed for event reservations and recreational activities through May 17. All current reservations were canceled through June 6.

The closure is necessary due to continued construction work for the Iowa Memorial Union (IMU) flood recovery and mitigation project.
