The University of Iowa School of Music will present recitals by students in the String/Piano Chamber Music Program at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, and Wednesday, Dec. 11, in the University Capitol Centre Recital Hall.

The recitals are free and open to the public.

The Dec. 9 concert will feature works by Bruch, Beethoven, and Messiaen. The Dec. 11 concert will feature works by Beethoven, Prokofiev, and Bartok.

As part of their preparation for these concerts, the student ensembles worked closely with the JACK, Daedalus, and Chiara Quartets.

The School of Music is part of the Division of Performing Arts in the UI College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
