Programs target beginner and intermediate levels

UI Recreational Services is hosting a second round of adult tennis clinics designed to guide players at the beginner and intermediate levels of play.

Classes will cover basic strokes and strategy with the use of drills and play. All clinics will take place at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Center, 2820 Prairie Meadows Drive, Iowa City.

The program costs $78 for Recreational Services members, $90 for nonmembers.

Available program levels and dates/times include:

  • Adult beginner: Sunday, Nov. 3-Sunday, Dec. 15, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Adult beginner/intermediate: Tuesday, Nov. 5-Tuesday, Dec. 17, 7:30-8:30 p.m.
  • Adult intermediate: Sunday, Nov. 3-Sunday, Dec. 15, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
