Recreational Services continues popular fitness option
Friday, September 6, 2013

University of Iowa Recreational Services is offering Bootcamp, a fitness class that combines functional sports training exercises, metabolic conditioning, and partner and group training exercises.

Instructors have created a blend of cardio training, calisthenics, resistance training, and stretching for optimal fitness results. The class will use the most up-to-date fitness equipment including battle ropes, kettlebells, dynamax medicine balls, and more.

Exercising at fall Bootcamp classes will help you lose body fat while increasing endurance and strength. Bootcamp classes will be taught by nationally certified personal trainers Renaldo Hall, John Helmsley, and Brooke Blazevich.

The class is offered at a variety of times at the UI Campus Recreation and Wellness Center(CRWC) and lasts approximately 45 minutes. Classes run each week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and one session is offered on Tuesday and Thursday weekly.
