The University of Iowa School of Music will present “Music Through the Centuries,” a free concert of music for organ, harpsichord, and voice, at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 13, in Riverside Recital Hall on the UI campus.

Students of UI School of Music faculty members Gregory Hand, Katherine Eberle, Susan Jones, Rachel Joselson, John Muriello, and Stephen Swanson will sing a variety of solo vocal music from composers Monteverdi, Purcell, Handel, Bach, Boulanger, Faure, and Davidson.

“We look forward to another outstanding program that highlights our most talented students in repertoire outside the standard literature they usually prepare for voice and piano,” Eberle says.

The School of Music is part of the Division of Performing Arts in the UI College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. For accommodations at the concert contact the School of Music at 319-335-1603. For a UI arts calendar and details about upcoming events visit the new Arts Iowa website.
