The University of Iowa Old Capitol Museum will host a free public showing of the film Love & Valor, The Intimate Civil War Letters, followed by a director’s talk Thursday, April 25 at 6 p.m., in the Senate Chamber.

Charles Larimer will share the stories about how he found the Civil War letters between Captain Jacob and Emeline Ritner, his great-great grandparents from Mt. Pleasant.
