The University of Iowa Museum of Natural History will continue the spring Movies@MNH series at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, with the free public screening of Bag It in Macbride Auditorium.

A movie poster with a big clump of plastic bags and the title of the movie "Bag It"
Bag It will be shown during Earth Month at the Museum of Natural History.

Try going a day without plastic. In Bag It, a touching and often flat-out-funny film, Jeb Berrier embarks on a global tour to unravel the complexities of our plastic world. What starts as a documentary about plastic bags evolves into a wholesale investigation into plastic and its effect on our waterways, oceans, and even our bodies.

This film and other Earth Month programs are presented in conjunction with the UI Office of Sustainability’s Earth Month Programming. For more information visit www.sustainability.uiowa.edu.
