The UIowa Saxophone Quartet will give a free performance at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 4, in Riverside Recital Hall on the University of Iowa campus.

The UIowa Saxophone Quartet, a newly formed ensemble led by UI School of Music professor Kenneth Tse, sometimes features UI alumni as well as current graduate students, and performs a wide range of repertoire from Bach to contemporary classical to jazz. The quartet—Tse, soprano saxophone; Ryan Smith, alto saxophone; José Zayas-Cabán , tenor saxophone; and Nathan Bogert , baritone and bass saxophone—will perform works by Bach, Edvard Grieg, Jun Nagao, Camille Saint-Saens, George Gershwin, and Jean Matitia.
