Creative writing and literature, genetics and social issues, politics, and successful aging courses such as the Nia Technique, Tai Chi, and Zumba, are just a few of the topics available to adult learners in spring courses through the University of Iowa Lifetime Enrichment Adult Program.

The program, run by the UI Center on Aging, provides unique learning opportunities for all adults. There are no education or experience requirements to enroll, and there are no course tests or grades.

This spring, the program also offers several educational day trips, including Villages of Van Buren County; Pella, Iowa; and the Preservation of Wildlife and Landmarks in Muscatine, Iowa, as well as several mini-trips to see the Barn Quilts of Washington County and the World’s Largest Feed Sack Display.
