Starting in August, I followed incoming freshman forward Lana Bonekemper throughout her first season as a Hawkeye soccer player. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native had the opportunity to take the field with the Hawkeyes early in the season before conference play.

Iowa ended the regular season with a record of 12-5-3 and heads to Bloomington, Ind., tomorrow as the No. 8 seed in the Big 10 Tournament. The Hawkeyes will take on top seed Penn State in the first round.
