Flu vaccines available at annual event

The University of Iowa Faculty and Staff Health Fair will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the UI Field House. “Healthiest State” is the theme for this year’s event. Visitors can get information on UI employee health care benefits and financial planning, obtain health-related giveaways, and enter for door-prize drawings.

Screenings and activities available include:

  • Flu vaccinations (University of Iowa faculty/staff ID required)
  • Cholesterol testing
  • Body composition
  • Blood glucose checks (please fast for 8 hours prior, offered until 11 a.m.)
  • Bone density testing
  • Blood drive
  • Massage therapy
