Peter Damiano, director of the UI Public Policy Center and professor of preventive and community dentistry at the College of Dentistry, will address moral and ethical challenges at play in the health care debate during the next "Finding God at Iowa" lunch forum Friday, Oct. 12, at noon in the Ohio State Room (Roon 343) of the Iowa Memorial Union.

Damiano will discuss the issues facing policy makers and the personal challenges confronting academic researchers as they seek to do unbiased research on questions with strong moral implications.

The "Finding God at Iowa" lunch forum series, sponsored by Geneva Campus Ministry, meets once a month during the regular academic year. Christian faculty, staff, and students discuss how their faith shapes their lives, their work, and their perspectives on university and social issues.
